General Radiography and Fluoroscopy Services

Alliance Medical Physics LLC offers assistance to comply with the regulatory needs of medical and dental facilities for diagnostic radiology including the following:

  • Radiographic units –including screen/film, Computed Radiography (CR), and Direct Capture Radiography (DR)

  • Fluoroscopic Units- including Special Procedures, Interventional, and Cardiac Catheterization units

  • Cabinet X-ray systems

  • Dental Units – including intraoral, panoramic, and dental CT

  • Hand Held units (if legal in the state)

Specific General Radiography & Fluoroscopic Services
  • Annual Medical Physics Surveys - Alliance Medical Physics LLC provides thorough testing of the units to meet the state and federal standards and fulfill JCAHO requirements. Upon finding issues needing addressing we communicate in a clear concise manner the issues needing correction, and if necessary communicate with the service professionals maintaining the equipment to facilitate the necessary changes. Fluoroscopic surveys also include a Scatter Radiation Level posting at multiple points around the table that can be used to improve the radiation safety awareness

  • Continuing Education Credit
    • CEs can be provided to the technologist during a physicist survey
    • Alliance can also arrange QC training for an entire staff and provide CE credits.

  • Alliance also Provides Assistance With:
    • ACR application and certification procedures
    • Annual review of the ACR Quality control program
    • Guidance on preparation for installation of MRI units
    • Evaluation of Clinical Protocols to meet ACR specific guidelines

  • Survey Reports Include:
    • Data and results for all relevant ACR testing
    • Laser printer performance evaluations
    • QC program review results
    • Summary of test results in ACR format
    • Measured data for reference by service, regulatory, and accreditation body personnel
    • Summary of findings and recommendations
    • Continuing Education certificate (where applicable)
    • Current CV of surveyor
